Shooting VS. Capturing: A Thanksgiving retrospect and montoge

Our annual Thanksgiving retreat was once again a rip-roaring good ol' time. This year marked the fourth year for Susan and tenth year for Alex. When November rolls around each year the Idaho hills begin to call. There were some dear friends that did not make it and some new faces that became new friends. The return of the ever popular game Bolt made a triumphant return, folks spent hours getting their Hone on. This years annual foot ball game was the bloodiest ever on record. There were cut cheeks, bruised knees, black eyes and one bloody ear! Thank god for the newly installed hot tub, the nightly soaks became a favorite for late night palavers. Keeping the tradition alive, the Utah boys (&gals) trucked up to Diamond Lil's. Our appetites diminished to the delectable tastes of deep fried onion rings, towering hamburgers, and fresh cut freedom fries. Pitchers of frosty brew washed it all down leaving the rest of the night devoted to shuffleboard and billiards. Rick seemed a bit off this year and wouldn't even get a game of dice together. Perhaps due to the vacant customers or our small group, Diamond Lil's was a bit lack luster this year compared to the rest. By eleven sharp we were saying our good byes and making that trek back to the Beddoes compound. Thank-you Meats Myer for the fine sober driving that night. Saturday was movie fest and the all day grazing of leftovers. This year the festival was split between two days. Films this year for the marathon: Young Guns, Control, Virgin Suicide, Triplets of Belleville, Pink Panther, and Who's Afraid of Virgina Wolf...."you laughed your god damn head off !" We finished off our week stay by spending some home-spun quality time with Tawni and Bryan: Late afternoon walk around the mountain, Sunday morning CBS T.V. special and a good long soak on the hot tub under a star encrusted night sky.
Thanks again for damn fine time!
