Painting Fin's Nursery

Several months back Susan and I took a trip to the paint store. We spent quite a while matching paint swatches, picking out the stickiest masking tape, nappy rollers...the whole works. In the end we decided to infuse the room with the warm and vibrant colors of the sun, oh glorious sun.

Fanaticaly Photographing Finley!!!

I just can't stop taking photographs of my little guy this past week! That's right Finley turns the BIG seven days old, 168 hours or 604, 800 seconds! Armed with a smart phone camera, digital compact and my trusty Contax G1 film camera, I have quickly amassed a plethora of photographic portraiture of the one and only Finley Hue Ferguson....Enjoy:

Without a doubt, the most unforgettable, fantastical New Year's Eve ever

Susan began her early labor contractions early Saturday morning, December 31st. As I slept deeply next to her, small seismic tremors quietly marked the beginning of early labor.

Upon waking I downloaded an application that kept us busy charting the frequency and the durations of the contractions throughout the day. A photo shoot, delivery of a new washer/dryer and Thai take-out rounded out the last day of the year for us. Our dear friends Bob, Irina, and Archie brought in 2012 with us!
