Okay, here is the blog for the details and pictures of our upcoming matrimony and honeymoon. To follow is a wondrous collection of ideas, snippets, photographs, and reflections on this project to have a simply lovely wedding without spending 5 grand and getting more fun out of it anyhow.
Think: croquet games at magic hour, picnics with fine china, strongly brewed teas, battenburg cakes, pink and yellow checkers, heart protectors, dusty blue, good old fashioned springtiminess, baguettes and fine cheese, microbrews, asparagus, new potatoes, passionate salads, acoustic guitar from the fingerpicking of good friends, there will be dance, there shall be rings, pitchy patch, rivendell atlantises on stage, a suitcase of donations for a bicycle self-contained camping tour of the Emerald Isle. The delicate percussion of spruces rattling above us, beneath us sweet heirloom picnic blankets and soft spring grass. . .
