We have given pause in the chronicles of our lives, fretted over a montage of images and sounds of a Christmas in Zion that perhaps might make it here some day. Currently engaged in prerequisites, substituting,and darkroom chemistry distribution. As the rain falls during a quiet Sunday-Wednesday afternoon in the Northwest, Mickey Rourke is grooming his new pet in anticipation of an Oscar soliloquy. We welcome back all ye faithful, for a new year at the hitching post. Susan turns the big two-five on the banks of the Pacific shore...enjoy!

Hike from Beverly Beach to Newport.Backpack filled with treats, smiles upon faces,love in the air
Once at Newport we walked over the bridge, with the late afternoon sun cradling us kindly as the motorists hurried by. Below us small fishing boats sputtered in and out of the marina.
Hanging out under the bridge at Newport. Next stop is the Rouge Brewery where Susan will receive her free Birthday beer part one...part two tomorrow. We walk the beach back lit by the falling sun. The last mike is walked hand in hand in the dark. The tide makes leaps at our toes.

The playing of the Atari 2600. We call it getting Atari-eyed and so we packed up the old system and brought it along this weekend. Sea Quest being a favorite.

Great to see what a lovely birthday weekend at the beach. Isn't Oregon just fantastic? So many different things to see and to do. I want to stay on the beach and watch the sunset from such a beautiful spot. Maybe someday those dreams of mine will come true. I'd love to live on the coast and enjoy the ocean breezes and take quiet walks such as you discribed.
